Position Overview:

Priority Group Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Aides to join our healthcare team in New Jersey. CNAs play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to our patients while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities:

• Patient Care and Support:

• Assisting patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and feeding.

• Helping patients with mobility and positioning, ensuring their comfort and safety.

• Providing emotional support and companionship to patients.

• Vital Sign Monitoring:

• Monitoring and recording patient vital signs, reporting any changes to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.

• Observing and reporting patient conditions and responses to treatments.

• Assistance in Procedures:

• Assisting nurses or healthcare professionals in various medical procedures and treatments.

• Handling and maintaining medical equipment as required.

• Safety and Compliance:

• Adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a clean and sanitized environment.

• Following established care plans and protocols in providing patient care.

Requirements:

• Possession of a New Jersey Certification as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) is mandatory.

• Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations including those set by the New Jersey Department of Health, Office of Inspector General, Medicaid/Medicare, Corporate Compliance, PEOSHA, and Priority Group Services Policies and Procedures.

• Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patient care.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

• Basic computer skills and ability to use healthcare software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably as a CNA or in a similar role.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.

• Additional certifications or training related to patient care.
