    Pay Rate: $40/hour

    Shift Coverage: 12 hours daily, 3 days a week (Daytime Shifts)

    Job Description:

    As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with our facility, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive care and support to our patient with developmental disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of our patient.

    Responsibilities:

    \- Provide skilled nursing care and support to our patient in accordance with established care plans and protocols.

    \- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.

    \- Monitor and assess the patient's condition, including vital signs, respiratory status, and overall well-being.

    \- Assist the patient with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and mobility support.

    \- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

    \- Communicate effectively with the patient, family members, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

    \- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

    Qualifications:

    \- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of New Jersey.

    \- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an LPN in a healthcare setting, preferably with individuals with developmental disabilities.

    \- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices.

    \- Ability to assess and respond effectively to changes in the patient's condition.

    \- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    \- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

    \- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

    \- Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.

    Additional Information:

    Our patient is a 56-year-old male with developmental disabilities who requires assistance with mobility and activities of daily living. He weighs 190 pounds and may require ventilator support at times. He resides with his elderly mother, who is an integral part of his care team.
