    Join our Electrical Engineering Manufacturing Team!

    Designing custom Switchgears and Control Panels, our Engineering Team meets the needs of our customers. Collaborating as a team, the Engineering team develops designs with our customers before sending the products to the next room for in-house production.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING, OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED:

    • Become familiar with ESS Metron's design standards, codes and manufacturing standards
    • Selection of electrical materials to meet job requirements
    • Create bills of materials in our MRP system, Epicor, specific to each job requirement
    • Create Auto-cad one line and three-line schematics for each job requirement
    • Provide additional verbal and written instructions to support manufacturing and test processes
    • Perform routine calculations to ensure designs meet standards and codes per NEC, UL, ANSI, IEEE, NFPA and any other customer requirements per supplied specifications
    • Build and maintain the assorted products, UL processes, and engineering documents that meet our customer's needs and future company growth expectations
    • Develop or update procedures and work instructions on a needed basis for: our Epicor system, project schedule, and all other related engineering documents used in the engineering department
    • Occasional travel requirements are part of the responsibilities of this position

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
    Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Electrical Engineering from a four-year college or university
    Two to three years of related experience and/or Training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    Exposure to and experience with Switchgear highly desired
