ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING, OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED:
• Manage, perform, and document on-site installation, start-up, operator training, repair, calibration, preventive maintenance, inspection, and test tasks in a timely and detailed manner
• Diagnose alarms, errors or technical/mechanical problems and implement proper solutions
• Update programming, drawings, and documentation to reflect the equipment in service at customer sites
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with customers, project teams and others
• Prioritize and plan work activities to make the most efficient use of allotted time
• Produce timely and accurate expense reports
• Comprehend, practice, and follow company directives and customer requirements
• Provide superior service and customer support
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Experience with low voltage or medium voltage power distribution equipment, generator controls, and control systems integration.
• Protective Relay understanding and programming experience
• Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell and Siemens PLC
• Experience with communication protocols/schemes
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred
• Ability to understand control schematics and any associated hardware
• Must support 75% travel or more (international travel may be required)
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's Degree (BS) from a four-year college or university
• Two to three years' relevant experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
