Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) Job Description

• Provide shower or bed-bath in patients' residences or at a facility twice weekly.

• Must have an active license with the Board of Nursing, California.

• Broad knowledge of medical care techniques in various settings.

• Especially adept at meeting patient care requirements.

• Ability to assist patients with a variety of daily healthcare tasks.

• Familiar with all aspects of senior care, especially in home environments.

• Ability to work well independently.

• Solid verbal and written communications skills.

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Must be caring, compassionate, empathetic, and have a true desire to care for others.

• Pay rate $20 to $22 per hour or visit if visit less than an hour, depending on experience.

• compensation for mileage is $0.50/ mileage.
