Colorado based title insurance production company is seeking experienced Title Examiners. These are career opportunities for the right individuals. Openings are located in Grand Junction, CO. Our company searches title and produces commitments and policies for several title agencies. These agencies insure title and close escrows on commercial and residential properties. • Performs title examination within company guidelines to determine the status of the title and the insurability by considering the effect of documents which may include deeds, deeds of trust, mechanics liens, tax liens, judgments, assessments, etc.
• Assesses risk and liability that may affect the company and its underwriters
• Prepares and review reports for accuracy
• Maintains proper production levels and delivery standards
• Identifies title defects and formulate solutions for insurability of title
• Prepares accurate title commitments in accordance with company policy and procedures
• Ability to answer internal and external questions regarding status of title issues
• Works closely with the escrow teams to insure requirements are achieved
• Takes responsibility for customer satisfaction
