Quality Assurance Technician – Marlborough, MA

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform 1st article inspections per customer and AS9100 requirements using mechanical inspection tools and digital inspection equipment

Approve traveler packages to the shop floor in a QA role to release process to shop floor as well as release parts to the customer.

Fulfill the role of the Delegated Quality Control Representative (DQCR)

Understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures

Work with Project Managers to schedule requirements and inspection detail.

Manage multiple jobs while adhering to deadlines

Plan inspection activities by reviewing work operation sheets, blueprints, customer drawings, etc.

Verification of required paperwork

REQUIREMENTS:

5 years experience as a quality inspector

GD&T/ANSI Y14.5 experience a must

Experience in ISO 9001 environment

Ability to interpret various customer / TDI drawings and specs

Possess In-depth knowledge of mechanical inspection equipment and practices

Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel

Possess good shop math skills and able to read and write in English.

MUST BE A US Citizen

Experience programming CMMs, specifically Zeiss CMMs using Calypso software PREFERRED

Experience as a Designated Quality Control Representative (DQCR) PREFERRED
