Dynamic Car Service in San Antonio, TX, is part of an automotive corporation with more than 20 years in the used car market. We know the business!

We're looking for a Consolidated, Experienced and Self-Driven Automotive Service Manager capable to manage our internal and external customer workload

We need a Service Manager who is passionate about customer service. Must act as a liaison between customers and service techs. Put your people skills to work for us !

Responsibilities:

Lead and direct automotive technicians and porters in the operation of the shop

Efficiently set schedules, assign tasks, distribute workload, prioritize, oversee technicians' inspections, diagnosing and repairing of cars and trucks

Order parts and ensure that scheduled arrival times do not create delays in the process - Re-prioritize work as needed on an ongoing basis

Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled. Ensure prompt, well-,mannered and effective service.

Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers

Promote shop service specials

Sell and manage extended warranties

Following up with customers on services requested, estimated completion times, new findings, etc.

Oversee complete vehicle inspections and then make comprehensive recommendations

Reinforce company policies and adhere to company standards and procedures

Keep General Manager informed of all existing and potential problems

Encourage compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications:

Bilingual (Spanish)

Valid driver's license

Perform well on a fast-paced environment

Ability to follow up on several matters simultaneously

Strong Desire to Consistently Provide an Exceptional Client Experience

Experience efficiently managing a team of technicians

Familiar ordering parts through various suppliers

Familiar with warranty claim process through different insurance companies

Hands-on workstyle - This is not a desk job!

Experience:

Minimum 3 years Shop or Service Manager experience
