JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for a top performing, hands on Mechanisms Engineer to lead the design, development and launch of vehicle's electro-mechanical systems for the new vehicles we are bringing to market.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND GOALS
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 4 years of experience or equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
Automotive engineering experience
CAD Capability: 4+ years Catia V5/V6 experience
Bachelor's in mechanical engineering
Experience designing in a variety of materials
Strong working knowledge of Design for Manufacturing, including familiarity with GD&T and dimensional engineering.
Familiarity with the specifications, DFMEAs, DVP&R's and other technical documents.
CHARACTERISTICS
Has experience developing mechanisms from initial concept through launch
Has experience developing complex 3D CAD
Works well in a team environment and under pressure to develop optimal solutions
Has experience with electro-mechanical systems
