    Job Description

    THE POSITION:
    The most important aspect of this position is the care and maintenance of the Memphis facility to ensure that it meets all regulatory, safety and efficiency goals, through the execution of all minor repairs, and routine maintenance for the Memphis facility.

    POSITION SUCCESS FACTORS:

    • Adhere to Current Good Distribution Practices (cGDP) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
    • Smooth operations of facilities through execution of minor facility and equipment repairs to meet regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain equipment to keep equipment cost and down time to a minimum.
    • Keep facilities clean and organized to meet all regulatory requirements.
    • Contribute to a safe operational environment by strictly complying with all EVERSANA safety requirements, this includes the accurate completion of pre and post lift truck equipment checklist.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Maintain all equipment.
    • Maintain facility cleanliness.
    • Maintain all records according to SOPs.
    • Maintain security according to SOPs.
    • Monitors and take corrective action to maintain temperature according to SOPs.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Performs minor electrical maintenance to includes but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures such as wall switches, wall outlets, incandescent bulbs, fluorescent bulbs, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor equipment cords using the appropriate hand and power tools.
    • Performs minor plumbing maintenance to include but not limited to replacement or repair of leaks in drains, leaks in faucets, unclogging of drains, unclogging restroom fixtures, replacing or adjusting sloan valve and washers.
    • Performs minor painting and prepares surfaces to be painted by using painting tools and sanding tools such as sprayers, rollers, brushes, thinners, proper sand papers and proper power sanding techniques.
    • Perform facility building repairs and replacement to include but not limited to doors, door closers, doorknobs, door locks, door latches, hanging doors, hanging door panels, door tracks , hinges, bumpers, seals, restraints, dock lights, louvers, exhaust fans, adjust thermostats, and repairing, replacing storage uprights and beams.
    • Reconfigures, installs, positions, and remounts modular office cubes. This include adjusting and installing cube walls, bins, work surfaces, and filing cabinets using hand tools, specialty tools, dollies and hand trucks.
    • Cleans floors (carpet, VCT, concrete) by vacuuming, stripping, waxing, buffing, using vacuum cleaner, shop vacs, high speed buffer, low speed buffers, extractors and operating sweeper scrubber. Posses’ knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
    • Cleans warehouse by sweeping debris, gathering cardboard, plastics and emptying recyclable containers placing in carts to be hall away to proper disposal areas for recycling and disposal.
    • Performs minor equipment maintenance to forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, sweeper scrubbers, warp machine, scales and conveyor to maintain warehouse operation efficiency.
    • Will at time order parts or supplies and maintain required documents for records.
    • Must be willing to work flexible hours and be available to be on call.
    • Performs other work related duties as assigned.

    MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:

    • Oral and written communication skills across multiple departments.
    • Developed team skills for an effective workgroup.
    • Understanding and executing well defined oral or written instructions with few problem-solving opportunities. Must be able to write legible, read and comprehend written instructions.
    • The position is task focused requiring basic mathematics to perform the job.
    • Must be mechanically inclined having one to two years’ experience making minor repairs to power equipment, repairing facility equipment and making minor repairs to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, preparing surfaces and painting. Must have the ability to work with hands in confined areas.
    • Must be willing to clean office and warehouse spaces, have experience with cleaning carpet, buffing and waxing VCT floors and have knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
    • Must be able to work from high platforms and able to work on step ladder, extension latter and climb building ladders up to 40 feet.
    • This position requires working flexible hours and being available to be on call.
