Job Summary

As a Federal NOTAN System Technical Writer, you will provide FNS first level documentation and provide recommendations and new documentation, including technical instruction books, notices, handbook and other technical directives.

Responsibilities

Provide expertise in first level maintenance documentation requirements analysis and development

Track and audit documentation redlines

Support system development/testing/integration/deployment activities

Develop and manage system engineering artifacts; system requirements artifacts; system testing artifacts; required product baseline artifacts

Review technical documentation and provide recommendations for improvements

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree and Ten (10) years of related experience OR

Bachelor’s Degree and Eight (8) years of related experience

Technical Proficiencies

Technical understanding of the maintenance of NAS systems

Experience in developing NAS technical documentation

Experience with NAS second level engineering

Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills

Experience with system testing (desired)

This position requires work to be performed at the William J Hughes Technical Center and may require travel to airport locations around the USA when scheduling dictates or at management discretion.
