Job Description
INTERNAL/EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES _ _

1. Review and understand the scope, objectives, and terms of awarded projects.
2. Communicate project requirements to a group of cross-functional team members. This includes specifying deadlines, deliverables, and anything else that is necessary for the successful completion of the project.
3. Communicate with clients. This includes managing all project submittals in a timely fashion, keeping clients updated on the progress of the project, as well as addressing any concerns or questions they may have. It is essential that the client feels like they are being kept in the loop at all times.
4. Keep effective communication throughout the life of the project. This includes reporting changes and communicating initiatives while articulating their nuances in a clear a concise way.
5. Follow up and follow through with any outstanding project information.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
· Over three years of project management working experience specialized in communication preferred
· Training in quality control procedures preferred
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
_· _ Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
_· _ Must be able to work well with people at all levels of the organization
_· _ Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.

· Stand and walk and for extended periods of time.
_· _ Intermittent outdoor exposure with temperatures up to 120 degrees
