The Driver Recruiter will sell company features to professional truck drivers. The Driver Recruiter identifies qualified prospects through selling techniques utilizing resources and strategies available. The Driver Recruiter will have industry knowledge and the ability to communicate with prospects which align with the company's "Wylie Tough" attitude.

Typical Day as the Driver Recruiter:

A. Responsible for full cycle sales including source, assess and hire candidates for truck driving positions.

B. Manage a high volume of outbound and inbound calls.

C. Practice the "Six Steps in Selling" when communicating with potential candidates.

D. Possess expert knowledge of company information including hiring areas, compensation structure and equipment knowledge.

E. Communicate with prospects throughout the sales process.

F. Overcome objections by building relationships.

G. Ensure quick response time when communicating with prospects.

Skills of the Driver Recruiter:

A. Excellent interpersonal skills.

B. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

C. Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment.

D. Long periods of sitting.

E. Ability to lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds.

F. Frequent use of computer and telephone.

G. Frequent use of applicant tracking software.

Education, training and experience:

A. Two years of experience in sales.

B. Two years of experience recruiting OTR drivers - flatbed preferred.

C. Basic computer skills.

D. Strong phone skills.
