At Root Causes Medicine , a fast-growing medical clinic, we're creating an entirely new category in health care that's focused on uncovering and addressing the root causes of disease, all while empowering patients to be their own health experts.

In order to accelerate this vision, you will serve as a dedicated Executive Assistant whose primary responsibility is to ensure that the executive you support is able to spend the vast majority of their time in their zones of genius—while being insulated from distraction and unnecessary demands.

You will provide one-to-one support across scheduling, communication, logistics, and day-to-day coordination—including both professional and personal tasks—keeping this leader organized, prepared, and operating at their best.

In this role, you enable the executive you support to operate effectively across clinical responsibilities, organizational leadership, and public-facing commitments.

While this role is primarily based in San Antonio, it will require travel, as well.

    What You'll Do

    • Own calendar coordination and scheduling, ensuring days and weeks are structured around true priorities
    • Manage administrative and logistical details across professional and select personal domains
    • Track commitments, follow-ups, and open loops to ensure nothing important drops
    • Triage incoming information and requests, handling them clearly and on time
    • Anticipate needs, resolve issues proactively, and maintain order across moving parts
    • Create reliable routines that reduce last-minute urgency and reactive work

    What We're Looking For

    • Experience supporting senior leaders in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
    • Highly organized and extremely detail-oriented, with strong personal systems
    • Strong organizational judgment and ability to manage multiple priorities and assignments simultaneously
    • Self-motivated and comfortable operating with limited instruction and high trust
    • Clear written and verbal communication; able to coordinate effectively with multiple people
    • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
    • Adaptable and effective in responding to changing workloads and shifting priorities
    • High reliability, follow-through, and enjoyment in bringing structure to complexity while working closely with leadership

    Why Join Us

    • Work closely with a senior executive at the center of a mission-driven organization
    • Play a critical role in enabling focus, leverage, and long-term impact
    • Meaningful work supporting the growth of an innovative care model

    Salary Expectation

    • $65,000 annually , commensurate with experience
