    We are hiring!

    We are in need of someone who is capable of working expo, but you would start out hosting. After you are trained on both positions you'll most likely end up with shifts doing both host and expo.. We start new hires off as a host so they can learn the tables and then once you are comfortable with that, we will move you to expo. In a restaurant, "expo" or expeditor refers to the person who manages the flow of food from the kitchen to the dining area, acting as a liaison between the kitchen staff and servers. The expo ensures that orders are accurate, dishes are properly plated and garnished, and food is delivered to the correct table in a timely manner. They are essentially the "air traffic controller" of the kitchen, coordinating the timing and presentation of all dishes. Expo isn't a job for everyone. For some people there is too many moving parts and too many details to worry about. Attention to detail is a HUGE part of being able to expo successfully.

    Ultimately you are responsible for ensuring we provide excellent customer service and a pleasant dining experience to each of our guests. If you think you can take on these responsibilities with enthusiasm, please read below to see if you qualify!

    Responsibilities:

    Welcome guests to the venue

    Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists

    Manage reservations

    Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas

    Provide menus and announce server's name

    Greet customers upon their departure

    Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options

    Maintain a clean reception area

    Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)

    Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries

    Assist wait staff as needed

    Requirements:

    Understanding of restaurant etiquette

    Familiarity with health and safety regulations

    Demonstrable customer-service and multi-tasking skills

    Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)

    Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area

    Responsible, enthusiastic, reliable, and professional demeanor

    Willingness to be cross-trained

    Commitment to excellence in your job

    Availability to work in shifts as needed

    Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift

    Sunday availability

    Compensation:

    $50 bonus (in company credit form) for employee referrals

    Discounted meals on shift

    $10.00/hr + tips
