POSITION SUMMARY

Maintain customer relations through bin management, onsite customer service and inside sales support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare, deliver via Company-owned vehicle, and restock customer orders for inventory management accounts;
• Facilitate the resolution of customer complaints or concerns with the branch team;
• Maintain a clean and high-quality environment for inventory programs;
• Seek additional product opportunities in existing programs;
• Build customer relationships at existing programs;
• Assist with branch warehouse duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years’ related experience, especially with direct customer interaction and problem solving
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Professional demeanor and a sense of urgency in resolving customer concerns
• Interest in and motivation to grow accounts by seeking additional products to add to customers’ inventory programs
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 60 pounds occasionally
• Forklift certification or have the ability to be certified
• Intermediate level Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook; experience with RF scanner and inventory management software, and/or ability to learn new software quickly
• Detail orientation and organization skills
• Current and valid driver’s license
• CDL License
• Ability to pass DOT physical, if necessary
• Knowledge of industrial fasteners and MRO products is a plus
