Summit Technical Solutions (STS) is seeking an experienced Engineering Technical Writer to provide support for the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) as part of the Aircraft Monitor and Control (AMAC) test teams.
The AMAC test teams will work with other testing professionals, hardware and software developers, maintenance personnel, System Program Office, and engineers to build test plans with test cases based on user requirements resulting in the development of testing solutions to ensure the current and next generation of weapons operate seamlessly on U.S. aircrafts.
Essential Job Functions
- Experience in test and evaluation, system design, or electrical systems; or experience with aircraft systems
- Prepares studies, plans and analyses in support of the delivery order
- Create, develop, plan, write, and edit operational, instructional, maintenance, or test procedures for paper, multimedia, or Web-based publications. Work on writing assignments.
- Produce high-quality documentation that supports client expectations and expresses technical content for non-technical clients.
- Review technical documents for content.
