    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Summary/Objective: The Field Service Technician is responsible for performing all outside repair/maintenance work in a thorough and accurate manner by performing the follow duties.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    Services and installs all equipment according to an established service schedule, company standards and within acceptable time frames as well as trouble shoot and rectify potential problems on location.

    Manages multiple projects under tight deadlines per customer demands.

    Applies knowledge of products and seeks additional training /education as appropriate.

    Produces timely and detailed service reports, documenting legibly and accurately all work completed according to company policy, and submits on a daily basis.

    Works closely with management to ensure timely scheduling of installations, repairs and service work.

    Provides service and customer support during field visits.

    Manages all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks.

    Maintains services vehicles in a clean manner at all times and ensures preventive maintenance is performed in a timely fashion.

    Keeps vehicle stocked with a sufficient supply of parts and tools.

    Builds and maintains customer relations in field to ensure excellent customer service and enhance the company’s image.

    Cooperates with other teams and share information across the organization.

    Assists with training of less experienced technicians.

    Good attendance is an essential job duty for this position

    Work Environment:

    While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. This can be extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, snow, wind, ice, etc. The employee is frequently exposed fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are usually 12+ hours a day and could be day or night, depending on operations.

    Travel:Travel is expected 100% of the time from house to location or shop to location.

    Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Six months to one year college, technical/vocational school or military training required; or three to six months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
