    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Summary/Objective: Take internal orders and input those orders into NetSuite so that the inventory can be pulled. Coordinates receiving and stages kits and purchase orders for outside process of vendor requirements. Compiles records and maintains inventory concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, shipping materials, supplies, and equipment by performing the following duties. Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments. Communicate with other locations on a daily basis regarding inventory and shipping and receiving.

    Works directly with internal customers to take orders. Being accurate and efficient is crucial to the job.

    Use computers for various applications, such as database management or word processing.

    Receives items and verifies count against packing lists.

    Compiles data from sources such as sales orders, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports and enters information into the computer system to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, or other records.

    Keeps back order in file in established sequence and releases back orders for issues or shipment as stock becomes available.

    Compiles stock control records and information such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage, and current market conditions, to determine stock supply and need for replenishment.

    Prepares requisitions, orders, or other documents for purchasing or requisitioning new or additional stock items.

    Compares nomenclature, stock numbers, authorized substitutes, and other listed information with catalogs, manuals, parts lists, and similar references to verify accuracy of requisitions and shipping orders.

    Reviews files to determine unused items and recommends disposal of excess stock.

    Transports parts from one area to another with handjack and forklift.

    Packages assembly for shipment; boxes, places on pallet and bands as required.

    Verify all parts received and match to the purchase order, including item, quantity, and price. Receive the parts in NetSuite, print labels and tag all equipment.

    Perform inspections on all items requiring inspections.

    Must have good time management skills.

    Work Environment:

    While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work will vary and overtime and weekends are expected.

    Travel:

    Travel will be minimal, but could occur.

    Education and Experience:

    Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Additional Eligibility Qualifications

    Forklift Certification required.
