    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Summary/Objective: Complete all required Level II inspections and In Process inspections (minimum 5 per month). Maintain all calibration records using GAGEtrak, send out measurement tools for calibration as scheduled in compliance with API requirements. Assist machining processes and work to manage OTD requirements as set by customer. Insure that all projects go all the way through for shipment.

    Maintains inspections for level II as required

    Completes no less than 5 in process

    Expedite all work through the machine shop

    Maintains accurate records of calibrations for the field and for the shop

    Special MIC as required

    Keep area outside of the machine shop organized

    Special projects as requested by Ops and Plant Manager

    Work Environment: This position requires both indoor and outdoor work. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

    Tools and Software:

    Required to use software tools such as Excel, Global Shop and NetSuite. Asset Management via a planning board is also required.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are as required to meet customer production commitments.

    Travel:Travel is expected 5% of the time.

    Education and Experience: Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
