OVERVIEW You will work to develop new generations of equipment as well as support legacy equipment used by our customers to fabricate prefabricated Roof Trusses, Floors Systems and Walls. As part of a growing and dedicated team, you will be given immediate responsibility for designing and analyzing complex mechanical systems.  You will develop designs from concept to production including mechanical drawings for manufacture. This may also include overseeing part fabrication and assembly and validation testing Typical day-to-day work is done using CAD for design, along with analysis tools.

• Ability to make mechanical designs given design criteria
• Integrate various mechanical components into complex machinery
• Ability to make part and assembly drawings, BOMs, and ERP structures
• Works well in a team environment
• Willingness to learn
• Strong reasoning and math/science background
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• CAD experience required (SolidWorks preferred)
• FEA experience required (SolidWorks Simulation preferred)
• Use of hand tools and measurement equipment required
• GD&T certification a plus
• Good understanding of Pneumatic/ Hydraulic concepts
• Good understanding of welding, machining, and sheet metal forming methods
• Able to read electrical schematics a plus
• Computer Skills: Should be comfortable with standard Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.); experience with analysis tools preferred.
