About the Role:

Sacramento Montessori is looking for a passionate and nurturing Early Childhood Education Teacher to join our dedicated team in Sacramento, CA. Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver Montessori-based lessons and activities tailored to individual child development needs

Create and maintain a prepared, safe, and engaging classroom environment

Observe and document student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones

Guide children through self-directed learning using Montessori materials and methods

Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student growth and classroom activities

Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support a cohesive school community

Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and early childhood education standards

Requirements:

6-12 ECE UNITS

Prior experience in an early childhood or preschool classroom setting

Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate learning strategies

Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain

Must pass a background check in accordance with California state requirements
