Early Childhood Education Teacher

The Learning Experience – Newark is seeking a caring and dependable Early Childhood Education Teacher to support classrooms serving infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. This role focuses on creating a structured and engaging learning environment where children build confidence, independence, and strong early learning foundations through hands-on experiences and positive relationships.

This position is ideal for educators who enjoy working with young learners in a collaborative and supportive childcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

Support daily classroom routines and learning activities across age groups

Implement developmentally appropriate experiences that encourage social, emotional, and cognitive growth

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment

Guide children through transitions including meals, rest time, and learning centers

Encourage classroom participation and positive peer interaction

Communicate professionally with families and teaching team members

Follow Delaware childcare licensing requirements and center policies

Qualifications

High school diploma required

Prior childcare experience preferred

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Reliable, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children

Must meet Delaware childcare licensing requirements
