We are looking for a musical early education teacher who is able to teach vocals as well! For our early education classes, you will be teaching foundational skills in a way that feels like a lot of fun with games, stories, singing and with little instruments! You will need a fundamental music background and be able to sing and play an instrument (piano, guitar, ukulele preferred)! This is a part-time position with a competitive payscale. Additional consideration given to candidates who can teach vocals to students ranging from 7yrs old to adults, as well!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide instruction in group or individual format using a fun music curriculum created for Bach to Rock Music Schools
Creates a warm and welcoming class environment for young children
Move, sets up and break down equipment at the school and school events on occasion
Knowledge and Skills

Must demonstrate an understanding of basic music concepts and be able to communicate those concepts in a developmentally appropriate and age appropriate manner with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Must play a musical instrument – piano, keys, or guitar preferred
Must demonstrate the ability to run basic sound equipment, computers and power point presentations
Must be able to be physically present at the facility during its hours of operation
Ability to pass a background check
Education, Work Experience and/or Licensure
Elementary Education
Music Education
Early Childhood Education
Music Therapy
Those who are currently enrolled in a degree program in one of the listed majors will also be considered
Years of experience in the subject area may be substituted for degree or licensure
Language Skills
Must be proficient in English speaking and writing skills. Additional language skills a plus.

Ability to work during the company's normal business hours that includes weekends
