Early Childhood Toddler Teacher (2-Year-Old Classroom) – Daycare & Preschool

Location: The Learning Experience – Jenison, MI Pay: $16–$18 per hour Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Jenison is hiring a warm, energetic Early Childhood Toddler Teacher to lead our 2-year-old classroom. Our daycare and preschool program focuses on helping toddlers build independence, confidence, and early learning skills through play-based, hands-on activities.

This is a great opportunity for a childcare professional who loves working with young children and wants to grow in a supportive early childhood education environment.

What You’ll Do

Create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom for 2-year-olds

Implement play-based learning activities using The Learning Experience curriculum

Support language development, motor skills, social-emotional growth, and early independence

Help children with daily routines including meals, potty training, transitions, and rest time

Communicate daily with families about progress, routines, and milestones

Work with your teaching team to maintain classroom quality and meet Michigan licensing standards

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required

Childcare, daycare, or preschool experience with toddlers preferred (6+ months)

CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework/degree is a plus

Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)

CPR/First Aid preferred (or willingness to obtain)
