Nana’s Place University is seeking a highly qualified and visionary Childcare Director with Level III Administrator Credentials to lead daily operations, instructional excellence, and compliance for our early childhood program. The Director will provide strong leadership, ensure NC Pre-K and/or MECK Pre-K compliance, foster a positive school culture, and guide staff, families, and community partners toward shared goals focused on child development, quality education, and continuous program growth.
This role requires a balance of strong administrative expertise, instructional leadership, technical assistance experience, and exceptional soft skills to support both people and systems.

Required Qualifications
Level III Child Care Administrator Credential (required)
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in early childhood leadership or administration
Demonstrated experience with NC Pre-K and/or MECK Pre-K compliance
Strong knowledge of DCDEE regulations, sanitation, and health/safety standards
Background in Teaching Strategies curriculum and early childhood instruction
Experience providing technical assistance and staff coaching

Experience leading a 5-Star rated program
Knowledge of environmental rating scales (ERS)
