SUMMARY -Lititz Christian School is expanding! In addition to our established campus, we are excited to open a second location in the Mount Joy/Marietta area. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the launch of our new Early Learning Center while making a meaningful impact on the lives of young children.

At Lititz Christian School, we cultivate a family-oriented, Christ-centered environment where teachers and staff are valued, supported, and encouraged to grow both personally and professionally. As a Lead Teacher, you will guide a classroom of young learners, shape their early education experience, and play an essential role in fostering a faith-based, nurturing environment.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and implement lesson plans that align with PA Early Learning Standards and the mission of Lititz Christian School.

Engage children in hands-on, play-based learning experiences that foster social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual growth.

Build strong relationships with families by communicating regularly through face-to-face interactions, email, and Brightwheel.

Model and incorporate Christian values into daily lessons and interactions with children, families, and staff.

Collaborate with the Early Learning Center team, providing ideas, creativity, and leadership to enhance the program.

Support and mentor the assistant teacher, ensuring the daily needs of students are met.

Create a welcoming, structured, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow.

Supervise and ensure safety during indoor and outdoor activities, promoting an engaging and structured environment.

Foster a sense of community among staff, children, and families, contributing to a positive school culture.

Attend all required staff training and meetings.

REQUIREMENTS

Required: Associate degree (AA) or Child Development Associate (CDA) in Early Childhood Education or a related field. (Bachelor’s Degree preferred.)

Minimum 2,500 hours of childcare experience or equivalent coursework.

Must successfully pass all background checks, including fingerprinting and reference checks.

Commitment to supporting and contributing to the mission of Lititz Christian School ELC by incorporating faith into daily interactions and the learning environment.

Ability to interact with children and collaborate with staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

High-energy, positive, and team-oriented attitude.

Strong communication skills and a warm, engaging personality.
