    Stamford Hospital is seeking an experienced individual to join the Perioperative team as a Full Time Lead Central Processing Technician. 

     

    The Lead Central Processing Technician will serve as a team leader for departmental operations. This individual will be a resource and trainer for new and current staff, monitor and maintain error rates and productivity statistics, as well as fill verbal and written requests for processing of manufactured sterile items.

     

     Schedule: Night shift, 11:00pm-7:00am, rotating weekends and holidays 

     

    Significant portions of daily assignments involve prolonged standing, transporting material & equipment, or lifting, moving, or carrying moderately heavy (over 20 pounds) for intermittent periods throughout the day.

     

    Required Skills

    1. High School diploma or GED equivalent required

    2. Certificate as a Certified Registered Central Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST) required

    3. Minimum of 3 years experience as a Lead in Central Sterile Department

    4) Chemical Hygiene Officer (CHO) certificate preferred

    5) Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) certificate preferred

     

    Required Experience

  • Qualifications
