POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for upholding Earth Fare’s Vision, Mission, Declaration and
Customer Service Creed, and adhering to the departments Standard Operating Procedures.
Works independently and in a team to ensure front and/or back of the house food preparation
duties are complete to include but not limited to, food and beverage preparation, maintaining
sanitation and safety standards and providing exceptional customer service at all times.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

maintaining juice bar back stock, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment; determine
produce needs for par sheet needs/orders; cut fruit and vegetables for breakfast/salad
bars and food prep needs for menus; prepare all cut fruit needs for Food Service; set,
maintain, and pull Salad Bar; manage the customer check out at register in the Food
Service Department by providing fast, efficient, accurate transactions and a welcoming
atmosphere; receive payments, and issue receipts, vouchers and credits to customers
while verifying proper security and loss prevention measures; maintain an accurate
cash drawer while sorting, counting and wrapping currency for efficient balancing each
shift; process customer returns/exchanges and provides accurate product and policy
information to customers; manage customer flow so the checkout is timely and
conducive to a positive shopping experience (40%)
related duties as assigned by the Food Service Manager or Assistant Food Service
Manager. Attends required department and store-wide meetings. (20%)
