    DIGITAL MARKETING STRATEGIST

    DESCRIPTION

    Follow Your Heart is looking for a bright, energetic, creative, food enthusiast who is eager to work for a mission-based company. Our perfect fit would exhibit strong communication, writing, organization, and creative skills to implement, manage, and measure our digital marketing efforts (social media, digital, e-newsletter, etc.) This person will work as part of Marketing team to plan strategic digital initiatives and execute fun, authentic, delicious, and inspirational content that will live across all marketing channels. We are fast-paced creative team that believes in the mission of the company and the products that we sell and place a large emphasis on maintaining the heritage and culture of the brand while staying innovative and leaders in the industry.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Community management (direct messaging, comments, engaging with tagged posts, etc.)

    • Develop and organize social media calendar and other digital initiatives

    • Assisting in developing and scheduling approved copy and images for social media

    • Assist in the development and production of in-house creative content

    • Work with media partners/influencers on developing, optimizing, and tracking success of campaigns

    • Website management (formatting and uploading recipes, updating product pages, etc)

    • Provide customer service to consumers via social channels and e-email

    • Communicate issues and important information to the appropriate person immediately

    • Adhere to company policies and core values

    • Other duties as assigned

    SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

    • Strong knowledge of social media best practices (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)

    • Experience with social media planning and measuring tools (Later), and email marketing platform Mailchimp

    • Experience with WordPress CMS preferred

    • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, and InDesign. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

    • Strong knowledge of digital marketing metrics, including those reported by Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Google Analytics

    • Strong attention to detail

    • Good time-management skills

    • 2+ years-experience as Social Media Manager

    • Customer service skills

    • Analytical skills

    • Excellent writing skills and grammar

    • Ability to meet deadlines

    • Proficient in Office and Adobe Creative Suites

    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

    • Teamwork and collaboration skills

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    While performing the duties of the job, the employee will work in an open office environment with moderate temperature and low noise level. This position will spend significant time typing on a computer and on the phone.
