Earth Smart Environmental Solutions, LLC is seeking an Environmental Field Technician to package various hazardous/non-hazardous, universal, and medical waste. Load drums, pallets and other container types on to truck and transport in accordance with EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations.

Other essential functions and responsibilities include:

• Maintain knowledge and training of job aspects
• Undertake responsibility and compliance of jobsite
• Manage services and ensure client/customer needs are met or exceeded
• Work as part of team and provide leadership
• Travel 50% – 70% of time via truck to various customer in and out of state

· Must be able to lift 75 pounds

• Must be able to able to lift or move heavy drums and other containers

• Transfer liquid waste from small containers (1-5 gal) to large containers (55 gal drums)

Preference:

· Degreed science curriculum (Chemistry, Environmental, Biology or other with General and Organic Chemistry)

• Characterize and Profile waste into TSD’s

· Veterans Preference

· Lab packing experience

· Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT Endorsement

· Clean Driving Record

• Outstanding customer service skills
• Have experience with DOT HAZMAT transportation regulations

· Compensation based on experience
