    Job Description: This position is responsible for: day-to-day supervision of Provider Services Representative (PSR) function including provider network development, recruitment, service, and new provider orientations. The Provider Relations Manager may also serve as a back-up to recruit, contract, educate, maintain, and improve provider participation and satisfaction for providers This is a working manager and must be actively engaged with workflow, the ability to create a project plan is a must.

    Responsibilities: 

    • Manages the process development, data gathering, reporting, and analysis to provide current data related to provider performance.
    • Uses data analytics to inform recommendations and drive performance improvement, cost containment, and regulatory compliance.
    • Produce weekly reports for Clinician performance and report to CCO and VPO with a Plan
    • Schedule coaching meeting with CCO with a plan and supporting data
    • Schedule a monthly meeting to touch base with PCPs
    • Work with scheduling to optimize Clinician scheduled visits
    • Collaborates service to providers including initial orientations, and intervention, and communication with providers
    • Manages and is accountable for the timely and appropriate resolution of provider issues and participate in quality assurance procedures by reviewing satisfaction surveys and performing follow-up calls as necessary
    • Ensures contract compliance of, and access to, provider network for all new and existing programs in a given region
    • Monitors identified access barriers, billing and reimbursement trends and utilize them for provider retention or recruitment purposes
    • Advocates on behalf of providers during escalated issues as applicable by investigating provider issues
    • Monitors task completion and recommend improvements to processes and workflows
    • Evaluates effectiveness of service to providers
    • Supports staff and collaborates with Leadership Team
    • Assists with projects as necessary, including compliance with regulatory responsibilities
    • Make recommendations for improvement of any and all procedures and systems
    • Other duties and tasks as needed and assigned
    • Must be able to build a project plan

    Required experience:

    •  Excellent communication
    • training and relationship building skills: Experience in a managed healthcare setting and working with healthcare providers required
