They are currently servicing more than 240 community locations across Maricopa and Pima County,

    JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for Medical Assistants to fill the role's administering COVID vaccinations across our client's 240 community locations. Involves daily travel of up to a 75-mile radius to administer vaccines in clinics/nursing homes. PPE is provided. You will be working with a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to set up and administer the vaccinations. Flexible with part-time and full-time hours available based on client needs. (Monday through Friday). Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours Monday-Friday Position Summary.

    Shift: 8:00am - 5:00pm Mon-Fri

    Uniform needed: Navy Blue scrubs

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • As a member of the COVID-19 Vaccination Project Team you will: • Prepares/reconstitutes COVID-19 vaccine for administration following strict guidelines per vaccine manufacturer. • Administers COVID-19 Intramuscular vaccinations following manufactures guidelines and clinic policy. • Documenting vaccinations and patient care outcomes • Other administrative duties as assigned • Facilitates communication between the patient and the provider during patient care: • Collect and shares pertinent information with the provider • Receives and acts on directives from provider • Responsible for preparing patients for visits with providers. Duties include but are not limited to, rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vitals, reviewing intake paperwork, pulling up radiology images, removing the dressing, procedure set-up, injection prep, accurate data entry into EMR. • Responsible for completing tasks associated with Company initiatives such as PROs, Quality Payment Programs, etc. • Maintains exam room standards. Rooms should be restocked at the end of each clinic day. Rooms and tables should be cleaned as needed during the clinic and at the end of each day. • Monitor biohazard and sharps containers and replace them as needed. • Assist the provider in preparing patient prescriptions and completing medical and patient forms (i.e. work release, FMLA, etc.). • Retrieves and responds to voicemails within 24 business hours and documents actions in EMR. • Prepares patient electronic charts for clinic visits prior to the date of service. • Verify any outstanding testing results are in EMR, confirm the appropriateness of patient to the provider (body part and/or insurance), note imaging, DME, or casting needed prior to provider visit on the date of service. • Scans clinical documents into EMR. • Print clinic schedules on the morning of the date of service. • Ensures patient receives education as indicated by the provider. • Manages EMR desktops of assigned providers in a timely manner. • Act as PTO Buddy per clinic plan • Create and promote the positive patient experience • Maintain HIPAA compliant environment • Maintain a clean workspace • The job holder must demonstrate current competencies for the job position. REQUIREMENTS:

    • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant training program or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
    • CPR certification Minimum Qualifications
    • Must pass a background check
    • Immunization certification 
    • 1+ year related experience required including immunizing and providing quality care to patients
