    The Role:

    We are on the lookout for a Controller/Accountant on an upward career path who embodies our commitment to excellence, innovation, and financial stewardship. As the monetary backbone of our operations, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our continued success and growth.     Key Responsibilities:

    Oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate bookkeeping and payroll, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.

    Financial risk management.

    Lead all financial and accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, tax preparation, payroll, and reporting.

    Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, report variances, and prepare financial modeling.

    Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

    Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

    Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.

    Qualifications:

    Experience as a Controller, with a minimum of 1-2 years in a leadership role within the finance department, preferably within the hospitality, restaurant, or related industry.

    A deep understanding of GAAP and financial principles specific to the restaurant or hospitality industry.

    Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field

    Experience with creating financial statements, general ledger functions, and the month-end/year-end close process.

    Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills.

    Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.

    Excellent communication/interpersonal skills; ability to interact and build relationships with all levels of the organization.
