    TRI POINTE HOMES IS LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED, ENTHUSIASTIC INDIVIDUAL TO JOIN OUR TALENTED GROUP AS A TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST IN OUR HOME OFFICE LOCATED IN IRVINE, CA.

      

    POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: In this role you will need to provide an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the entire recruitment life-cycle. The ideal Talent Acquisition Specialist will work collaboratively with brand/divisional HR Leaders, on a consistent daily basis, as well as hiring managers to drive talent attraction campaigns, fill open positions and employ innovative search strategies to attract and procure top talent, including passive candidates. Additionally, you will consult with HR Leaders and hiring teams as a subject matter expert regarding candidate market trends and interviewing best practices.

      

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Engage in multiple talent sourcing options for identified open job requisitions, including identifying both active and passive candidates, utilizing advanced sourcing techniques (e.g., cold calling, job boards, advertising, database and internet searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, and networking and referrals). Work collaboratively with HR Business Partners to track ongoing talent pool for potential future open positions.
    • Manage and administer disposition of candidates and requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
    • Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to develop and execute talent sourcing strategies that yield consistent and strong results
    • Conduct intake meetings collaboratively with field HR Business Partners and hiring managers
    • Craft comprehensive search strategies, ensuring a sound understanding of job responsibilities, requirements and talent gaps
    • Develop knowledge of the homebuilding business (key functions, roles of each dept and position) and culture, in order to help candidates fully comprehend and embrace potential career opportunities within the Company
    • Maintain accurate notes and documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions, and other recruiting activities
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers and HR business partners
    • Regularly meet via schedule cadence with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to discuss progress re: open positions and candidate status updates
    • Ensure weekly open job log is kept up to date (with input from HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers)
    • Proactively manage expectations of both candidates, hiring managers and HR Business Partners by ensuring all participants receive a positive experience
    • Generate candidate pipeline for each open position and or future staffing needs to include but not limited to database development, management and periodic, appropriate touch points with candidates
    • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing, to pipeline management, to offer negotiation (if applicable) and closing
    • Be a brand ambassador for our Company!

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • A minimum of 5 years of recruiting/sourcing experience required; preferably in a fast pace high volume environment 
    • In-house recruiting, a plus
    • Applicant Tracking System experience required
    • Social media recruitment experience preferred (i.e. LinkedIn)
    • Strong collaboration skills and an outstanding team member
    • Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills required
    • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and frequent interruptions
    • Strong PC skills, primarily Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
