    As the Elementary Physical Education Teacher at East Hill Christian School, you will play a vital role in promoting a healthy and active lifestyle among elementary students. As an Elementary School Teacher at EHCS, you will be an integral part of our dedicated faculty, contributing to the holistic development of elementary students. The Elementary Physical Education Teacher will report to the elementary principal, providing regular updates on curriculum development, student progress, and departmental needs. He or she will engage in open communication with school administrators, seeking guidance and sharing insights to enhance the overall educational experience. As a member of the faculty, the Elementary Physical Education Teacher is expected to contribute actively to chapel services and other spiritual development activities. All faculty members are expected to embrace opportunities to integrate Christian values and principles into education, fostering a Christ-centered approach to students' growth.

    Required Professional Qualities

    • A minimum of an earned bachelor degree in physical education or a related field or teaching experience through an alternative certification program
    • Certified or able to receive teaching certification for elementary grades through ACSI
    • Commitment to Christian values and the integration of faith into the curriculum.
    • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

    • Assess student progress in physical education through observation and structured activities.
    • Provide constructive feedback to students and collaborate with parents to support their child's physical development.
    • Ensure the safe and proper use of equipment and facilities during physical education classes.
