    Position: Site Coordinator

    Mission: EPATT equips youth to thrive in college and career pathways through academic one-on-one tutoring, parent empowerment, enrichment activities, mentorship, coaching, and tennis instruction. For over 35 years EPATT has impacted thousands of youth and families in the community of East Palo Alto and beyond and continues to be a model for sports and academic non-profits across the nation. (It’s also a GREAT place to work!)

    Dates/Schedule:

    Start Date: Immediately

    Schedule/Hours: Approximately 10-15 hours/week depending on applicant schedule. Available shifts are:

    Mon-Thurs 11am-5:45pm (Grades K-5th)

    Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 1-4pm (Grades 6th-7th)

    Some evenings and weekends (rare) for special events or meetings

    Friday, bi-monthly staff meetings

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Supervise and manage student online tutoring sessions (Grades K-10th)

    · Track student progress and outcomes in the curriculum

    · Collaborate with staff, parents, teachers, and program leads to coordinate implementation of curriculum

    · Communicate with program staff, students, and tutors regarding attendance and schedules

    · Assist staff with implementing in class activities and/or lessons

    · Assist with the organization of special events

    · Maintain clean and organized classroom space

    · Help transport students to trips, events, and tutoring via EPATT vans

    Required Skills

    · Education: Associates degree or higher (or in progress)

    · Experience in a youth development organization or school

    · Ability to deal effectively with youth including discipline challenges

    · Experience leading a group or managing people

    · Demonstrated ability working with young people, parents and/or community leaders.

    · Must pass background check and provide TB test clearance.

    · Must have a current CPR/First Aid certification or commit to obtaining one once hired

    · Experience working with and/or in minority communities

    Desired Qualifications

    · Spanish fluency is a HUGE plus.
