    East View Geospatial is a global leader in supplying authoritative worldwide maps, geospatial data & GIS services to professional customers around the world. Our Minneapolis headquarters is currently looking for a dynamic, creative and motivated Sales and Marketing Support Specialist to help us penetrate new markets and grow our revenue. The role demands a confident, resourceful person that is looking to experience and learn the full breadth of marketing activities from email marketing to advertising to sales representative support. The position will report to the Director of Marketing.

     

    POSITION SUMMARY:

     

    The Sales, Social Media & Communications Specialist will serve in a multifaceted role to support various Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service initiatives. S/he will work in a team environment with a focus on CRM management, Communications, Copy Writing, and Social Media Management. This person must be a self-starter, with proven communication skills, quality and detail orientated, with the ability to organize and prioritize the workload, ensuring deadlines are met.

     

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

     

    Sales Support:

    • Entry of opportunities into CRM system
    • Triage of incoming leads and orders

     

    Marketing Support:

    • CRM management and ongoing contact maintenance
    • List generation and segmentation
    • Triage of new leads
    • Contact entry and ongoing data hygiene

     

    Support Company’s Communication Strategy:

    • Execute deliverables within the communication calendar
    • Write promotional copy
    • Initiate regular email marketing campaigns (via MailChimp)
    • Edit and manage collateral, sell sheets, and other company literature
    • Social Media accounts management (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
    • Create promotional branded materials and videos
    • Support social strategy and brand awareness plan

     

    Supporting role in website content, messaging, design and user experience

    • Support creation of new web pages on existing page updates
    • General maintenance and troubleshooting
    • Coordinate with internal and external marketing resources including but not limited to partners, developers, and contractors

     

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Resourceful, Collaborative and detail oriented
    • Social Media marketing experience
    • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees
    • Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

     

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    • Experience with SEO & lead-generation
    • Familiarity with CRM systems
    • Experience with website CMS systems
    • Direct E-mail marketing experience
    • Strong background with geography, maps, GIS, and remote sensing
    • Foreign language proficiency
