    COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST LL

    SUMMARY:

    ROGERS IS BUILDING THEIR COMPLIANCE TEAM AND IS LOOKING FOR A COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST LL TO JOIN OUR COMPLIANCE DEPARTMENT AND HELP BUILD PROCESSES.  THE COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST LL POSITION SUPPORTS OUR REGIONS IS 100% REMOTE AND REQUIRES TRAVELING TO OUR DIFFERENT LOCATIONS.

    The Compliance Specialist II is responsible for managing incident and investigation reporting events and will complete internal audits of each program to monitor and ensure compliance with State, Federal, and Joint Commission Standards.

     

    JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for managing daily assigned incident or other serious event investigations that occur within the assigned programs responsible for.
    • They will support program documentation compliance by completing chart audits.
    • Complete program audits to ensure processes the organization implements have compliant outcomes.
    • Perform quarterly program audits within all assigned programs, including Inpatient Hospital, Residential and Outpatient settings.
    • Provide education to staff when needed in all areas related to compliance
    • Assist during Federal, State and Joint Commission surveys as needed, conducting tours and providing necessary documents as appropriate.
    • Participate in the Rogers Operating System to ensure action plans and follow-up projects to address any regulatory deficiencies identified are addressed.
    • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to the different facilities.

    EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in political science, social services, business, healthcare, or related field required.
    • Experience conducting audits with joint commission or state agency preferred
    • Min of 3 years of compliance audit experience 
    • Demonstrate an understanding of Joint Commission, State and Federal regulatory requirements and risk management responsibilities.
    • Must be fully vaccinated for Covid unless approved for a medical or religious exemption.

    • Must be able to work flexible hours, days, evenings, and weekends. Available to work all shifts (weekends and nights a must).
