    COLSA IS SEEKING QUALIFIED CANDIDATES FOR POSITIONS IN SUPPORT OF THE AMC ENTERPRISE COLLABORATION AND PRODUCTIVITY ENVIRONMENT, THE AMC ENTERPRISE PORTAL (AEP) IN BOTH CLASSIFIED AND UNCLASSIFIED ENVIRONMENTS

     

    Position Summary: Systems Admin to implement, support, maintain, and manage IT services, including networking, IT security, email, and disaster recovery.  Systems Admins provide subject matter expertise for both hardware and software.

    Essential Functions:

    • Provide SharePoint architecture support for a 15 TB DOD Enterprise SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint 2016 on premise farms in both classified and unclassified environments.

    • Troubleshoot farm issues, maintain stability of the farm, add services and tune farm services (Search, Excel services, and Nintex workflows).

    • Apply SharePoint Cumulative Updates (CUs) to ensure and maintain the DOD strict adherence to security.

    • Troubleshoot SharePoint server issues, maintain stability of the servers (Windows Servers 2012/2016), add services and tune SharePoint services.

    • Obtain, implement and manage certificates for 4 SharePoint farms and SQL servers in NIPR and SIPR environments.

    • Conduct Server STIGs to the SharePoint servers and SQL server

    • Support Infrastructure Team

      • Creating and executing custom scripts using T-SQL and PowerShell
      • Monitoring SQL, IIS/Web Server, and Windows Server including high availability and performance optimization
      • Monitoring storage, network and server technologies related to SharePoint
      • Assist with storage analysis, farm capacity planning
    • Coordinate with DISA Systems Admins and Backup Recovery Team to assure database and OS backup strategies - local and offsite - are effective, efficient, and accurate.

    • Support SharePoint solution architecture using SharePoint and related technologies

    • Support SharePoint content, configuration and services databases with well-developed knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server - operation, tuning, backup and recovery

    Required Skills Required Experience

    EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field required

    EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum of 8 years of related experience in areas such as system engineering, security, and IT support
    • Proven track record of success in installation and maintenance of software systems
    • Organization and multi-tasking skills that strike a balance among validation/verification, requirements analysis, customer interaction and project oversight
    • DoD Secret Clearance required
    • Security + and at least one Microsoft computing environment certification

     

    SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE: • Exceptional networking skills and knowledge. • Self-motivated and work well independently. • In-depth knowledge of data structures and ability to analyze data to solve problems. • Flexible and easily adaptable.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    •  Master's degree

  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution plus eight (8) to twelve (12) years relevant specialized experience performing system design, integration, laboratory and shipboard testing, and limited GUI development for mechanical systems development.
    • Four (4) years experience on U.S. Navy hardware systems
    • Four (4) years experience in digital and analog systems and subsystems
    • Four (4) years of experience on U.S. Navy maintenance philosophy
    • Provide system analysis of components or subsystems of Naval military systems.
    • Perform engineering work and apply judgment to resolve conflicting requirements.
    • Experience with Lenel, Physical Security Systems, Access Control Systems preferred.
