RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT INTERN

The Research and Development Intern would report to the North America Hot Melt team and would be supporting experiments that evaluate the impact raw materials have on newly developed products. The intern would work as a resource to explore the raw material selections in our products. The intern would work with individuals throughout the company to understand the implications of how raw materials are allocated and the implications of using different forms of raw materials and equivalents. The intern would work with experts within the company to understand current products, performance parameters, and SOP’s for making Hot Melt Adhesives.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
This individual will be responsible for a specific project that looks at the impact different raw material feed streams have on the overall performance of our Hot Melt products. The project will include in-depth analysis of how we select raw materials and what impact certain feed streams have on specific properties of our adhesive. The end objective of this project will give us a cross-functional understanding between what raw-materials we use and what impact they have on our products.
