THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD.
This position is contingent upon award – The Persistent Cyber Training Environment Engineer position requires an understanding of security related system controls and an understanding of the various Government security policies including NIST SP 800-53A and DoD 8570.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (NOT LIMITED TO DUTIES AS DESCRIBED – PERFORMS RELATED DUTIES AS REQUESTED)
- Provide technical advice and analysis of Cyber Test and Training capabilities to include Cyber Range and Mission Command (MC) Home Stationing Training experience, which includes experience regarding joint Cyberspace Operations related to Service Cyber Component, DOD EA for Cyber Test and Training range, and Service developed cyber test and training capabilities.
- Analyze current (DOTMLPF-P), as it relates to development of current and future cyberspace operations (CO), including OCO, DCO, and Cyber Situational Understanding (SU) mission concepts which directly support the Cyber Mission Force (CMF) and Army corps a below unified land operations (ULO).
LEVEL OF SUPERVISION:
- Must be able to function independently.
- Provide supervision, overview, and general use training to all organization members and key leaders upon request.

- Candidate should possess technical, operational, and policy expertise in Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE), understanding of DOD, National, and/or Service cyberspace training range environments, cyberspace training event management (e.g. planning and execution of major cyberspace exercises such as Cyber Flag or Cyber Guard), and knowledge of solutions used for PCTE connectivity such as the Joint Information Operations Range nodes
- Have a minimum of two years with designing legacy and current Cyberspace operations infrastructure.
- Have minimum of two years’ experience in developing and implementing cyberspace operations training material using virtual machine technology to include simulation computer networks.
- Two (2) years’ experience/knowledge of military documentation process, capability development process, or requirements determination process is preferred but not required.
- Possess, at minimum a bachelor’s degree, or higher, with STEM emphasis.
- A Top-Secret security clearance and upon award be immediately eligible for nomination to receive Special Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS:
- Must be certified in one or more IAT Level III certifications (CISA, GSE, SCNA GCIH, CISSP).
