    POSITION OVERVIEW: 

     

    As the Technical Director, you will bring considerable technical, functional, and product expertise to deliver effective solutions to clients. As Technical Director, your main responsibility will be to oversee, design and develop full client solutions. You will interact with key business and IT teams and lead all technical implementation activities. You will lead engagement planning and project budgeting for all Salesforce estimates; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work; monitor and manage engagement risk. Manage or lead the Technical Architect on the day to day interactions with clients and internal sponsors. System integration solutions, application development, system level security, and multi-tier architectures are the key involvement activities for this role. Maintenance, tuning, capacity planning and performance measurement. 

     

     

     

    Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead development teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal and estimate(s) process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents. Perform role of coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local and global offices. 

     

     

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES: 

     

    • Expertise is in omni-channel strategy, business analysis and enterprise solution architecture. 

    • Main areas of expertise we are looking for: Enterprise Architecture, Digital Solutions, Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Omni-Channel: B2C including Retail, B2B, B2E, Mobile/Pervasive, Kiosk, Point-of-Sale), Content Management, SOA/Integration, Order Management & Fulfillment, Social Collaboration, understanding of Data & Analytics and the impact it has on solutions, CRM, ERP, Supply-Chain, Digital Marketing, Creative UI/UX, Interactive & custom based applications focused on eCommerce. 

    • Hands-on leadership on large-scale, complex project implementations with emphasis on designing and building personalized, mission-critical applications that help enterprises interact with customers, business partners, and other constituents. 

    • Experience in leading implementations: large sized teams (on and offshore) and technology engagements, including client and consulting staff. 

    • Launch omni-channel (online, mobile, tablet) eCommerce solutions based on Salesforce Commerce Cloud technology for multi-channel retailers, luxury brands, consumer goods, and branded manufacturers. 

    • Design and implement payment-processing eCommerce solutions that integrate industry-standard OMS, CRM, WMS, and 3PLs. 

    • Demonstrate complete understanding of the overall project, with the ability to provide input and direction to team members across all disciplines to deliver successful eCommerce solutions. 

    • Translate the client's business requirements into systems design. 

    • Serve as technical advisor and problem solver to clients and partners to assist them in optimizing eCommerce product suites that define, build, and deploy eCommerce applications. 

    • Manage a team of technical resources, and estimate time frames and quality/quantity of resources required to successfully implement projects. 

    • Set up and manage a complete development environment, including set-up, builds, deployment, source control, quality management and continuous integration. 

    • Performance-tune entire applications and related layers. 

    • Foster code reuse, maintainability, and consistency across multiple team members and / or projects, and determine the approach in handling code branching and merging. 

    • Oversee the production of client-ready documentation for projects, and produce them in the style of PFS templates when no templates are available. 

    • Demonstrate an ability to mentor colleagues in the technology discipline. 

    • Active in determining preferred frameworks and tools across the PFS technical community. 

    • In addition to billable client work, assist with pre-sales and sales opportunities, including RFP responses, architecture assessments, and technical qualifications.

     

     

     

     

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS: 

     

    • 12 years of relevant technology consulting or industry experience delivery consulting services for software development companies. 

    • Must have significant experience in shaping and delivering large projects within SFCC – Salesforce Commerce Cloud and preferably OMS, POS, EMM, and personalization leveraging globally distributed teams. 

    • Experience with common open APIs (Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter, etc.), keeping a focus on strategic uses as well as technical knowledge.
