RMS WILL BE PERFORMING BASE OPERATION SUPPORT (BOS-1) TO THE UNITED STATES ARMED FORCES AT ALI AL SALEM (AASAB) IN KUWAIT, AS PART OF THE AFCAP IV CONTRACT.

TITLE:  RECREATIONAL MANAGER

SUMMARY:

The Recreation Manager shall provide recreational services support in the following functional areas: Lifeguard, Cashier, Lodging, Food/Beverage, Escorts, Personnel Personal Trainers and Linen services   The manager shall provide program planning and execution, labor and supervision of contract labor to meet all requirements. The manager shall submit program planning and implementation to the COR or a designated Government representative (DGR) for approval.  The manager shall be present at events to effectively manage and monitor the programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Oversee 24/7 recreational program.
• Coordinate all arriving entertainer schedules and needs inclusive of lodging, host nation requirements, set-up and tear-down.
• Maintain a recreational program ensuring a monthly total of 36-40 events are offered inclusive of a day event and a night event.
• Be knowledgeable of all regulations and rules of play regarding any weekly recreational activity or tournament hosted.
• Identify supply requirements and prepare necessary documentation for purchase.
• Assist with other facilities or departments as needed to ensure mission success.
• Monitor all LN staff associated with the department and if needed other departments

 EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in recreational programs, fitness center operations, learning resource center operations, community activity operations, theatre operations and lifeguard services.
• Oversee 24/7 recreational program.
• Host activities, events, and special events as needed.
• Coordinate all arriving entertainer schedules and needs inclusive of lodging, host nation requirements, set-up and tear-down.
• At least 2 years of experience developing graphics for marketing, publicity and/or advertising using Microsoft and other related programs.
• Maintain a recreational program ensuring a monthly total of 36-40 events are offered inclusive of a day event and a night event.
• Be knowledgeable of all regulations and rules of play regarding any weekly recreational activity or tournament hosted.
• Identify supply requirements and prepare necessary documentation for purchase.
• Assist with other facilities or departments as needed to ensure mission success.
• Monitor all OCN/LN staff associated with the department and if needed other departments

EDUCATION

High school diploma or GED.

CLEARANCE:  MUST HAVE AND MAINTAIN A VALID DOD SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE
