Job Description

The Teacher will provide program services to children in the classroom following an appropriate educational plan. Plan and work with the Program Director and Education Department Lead in developing new and innovative program changes. Ensure the safety of all children in your care at all times by maintaining awareness of the environment. Monitor children's progress regularly in compliance with state and local requirements, including periodic progress reports. Maintain administrative record keeping and other paperwork including classroom enrollment, attendance, daily contact forms, data sheets, lesson plans, etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education and/or Early Childhood Education
• Pennsylvania Teaching Certification in Special Education and/or PK-4 Certification
• Previous teaching experience and/or experience working with young children with special needs
