    Financial Wellness Intern

     

    About the Position

    Utilizing market research and data analysis, this individual will help the Credit Union understand the use of existing Financial Wellness offerings and aid in the research for new offerings. This includes providing key insight and making recommendations for growth of financial wellness programs and offerings.

    Normal Day-to-Day Work

    1. Collect, study, understand and report data from internal and external sources to gain insight to current and potential members’ behaviors specific to personal money management.
    2. Transform data into information to identify and report trends and evaluate effectiveness of financial wellness programs, resources and marketing campaigns.
    3. Build and manage various spreadsheets, templates, databases, reporting tools and dashboards to communicate trends to management team.
    4. Analyze data for online money management resource to determine member behavior, usage, engagement and identify year over year/month over month trends in these specific areas to help provide insight for marketing opportunities.
    5. Complete the reporting of month end numbers for the department each month by using data collected from various sources and compiling it into the Monthly Report spreadsheet.
    6. Research potential product, service and program opportunities and/ or feature enhancements to further drive financial capability among members and local government units.

     

    Job Qualifications

    Here are a few skills you MUST have to be considered for this position.

    1. Currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or related field of study.
    2. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
    3. Ability to function in a commercial business office environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, copier, telephone, etc.
    4. Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. (file boxes, computer printer).
    5. Travel required sometimes

     

     

    THIS IS A PAID INTERNSHIP, RUNNING FROM MAY 18 – AUGUST 7. ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON SITE IN RALEIGH, NC
