Overview

Easton Consulting Technologies, LLC is a global Proprietary Consulting Firm helping launch various successful Prop Firms that service retail traders worldwide. We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Analyst to join the Firm's legal team. The Legal Analyst will report to the Legal Associate and collaborate closely with the management team.

Responsibilities

The Legal Analyst will be responsible for supporting the legal team in various legal matters, including contract drafting and negotiation, corporate law matters, regulatory compliance, and legal research. The ideal candidate should have experience either in the corporate department of a law firm or as in-house counsel, and/or experience in the financial services industry. Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills are essential.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Review, draft, and negotiate various contracts, including vendor agreements, customer agreements, and trading agreements.
• Advise on corporate law matters including corporate law in Delaware, Texas, and the Cayman Islands; draft and review corporate governance documents, such as operating agreements and director resolutions.
• Liaise with external legal counsel in litigation and dispute resolution matters.
• Assist with regulatory compliance matters, including registration filings and regulatory reporting.
• Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures to mitigate legal and regulatory risks; collaborate with internal stakeholders as needed to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Stay up to date on legal and regulatory developments affecting the financial services industry.

Qualifications & Skills

• Juris Doctorate/LLM required
• 1+ years of experience in the corporate department of a law firm or in-house within the financial services industry, preferably in a trading or broker-dealer environment.
• Strong knowledge of corporate laws and securities laws, including rules and regulations under SEC, FINRA, FTC and CFTC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and legal research tools.

• Location: Remote, preferably US-Based
• Start Date: Immediately
• Schedule: Our core salaried team is online 8 am - 5 pm EST with a 1-hour lunch break.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $85,000 – $100,000. Additionally, US-based W2 employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits, including health care and PTO. Easton Consulting Technologies operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy, and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, department, and individual performance.
