EASTSIDE BILINGUAL MONTESSORI is seeking a Preschool Teacher and Assistant teacher (Spanish Speaker Only) to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age-appropriate activities for children following the Montessori classroom guidelines and principles.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Company Description

We are hiring one Lead Teacher and one Assistant to start in July 2022 and continue to the entire school year 2022-23. Having experience in Montessori preschool is preferable for the lead teacher position but we offer to pay the Montessori Certification training program for long term contract commitment. Salary is DOE. Minimum commitment is for 1 for full school year. Our preschool is growing, and we have waiting list every school year. Shift would be as follow: 9am to 5pm / 8am to 1pm / 8:50am to 2:50 pm. Long term employees would be eligible for benefits.
