Job Summary
ESO is looking for a Director of Capital in the Community Fund to design the lending strategy and loan product development for black and brown entrepreneurs. Responsible for loan portfolio growth and performance, client retention, and people leadership, the Director will act as both an internal and external leader with a deep understanding of the market, sector and competitive trends. Internally, the Director will work alongside the Program team to build deep and authentic relationships with entrepreneurs. Externally, the Director of Capital in the Community Fund will build deep relationships with clients, prospects as well as strategic channel partners and other relevant players in the ecosystem.

Deep knowledge of the loan, venture capital, and innovation ecosystem
Extensive people management experience
Strong relationship management skills and ability to develop authentic relationships with senior leaders in the ecosystem
Strong analytic and leadership skills
Capable of using both data and intuition to deliver results
Ability to prioritize tasks with highly effective time management
Ability to effectively manage resources to optimize process and outcomes
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to easily adapt to an audience
Ability to foster a strong team environment and ability to work seamlessly across multiple verticals in the organization
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
