ARTISAN BREAD BAKER (AFTERNOON SHIFT)

Easy Tiger, one of Austin’s most beloved brands, is currently seeking an Afternoon Shift Artisan Baker to join our wholesale bakery team!

We boast one of the highest quality wholesale bakeries in the country featuring local, nutritious, beautiful bread that has no dough conditioners.

REPORTS TO: Lead Baker

SALARY / GRADE LEVEL: Hourly / Non-Exempt HOURS: 12pm to 8pm or 2pm to 10pm / FT - 5 x 8 Hour Shifts

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

Learning and honing the craft of baking from our skilled bakers

Shaping & proofing a variety of unique breads

Baking artisan breads using state of the art deck and convection ovens

Mixing various doughs and starters while maintaining consistent quality and schedule

Dipping and baking the best pretzels in town

Maintaining cleanliness

Putting away deliveries

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

Previous bakery experience is a plus, but not required

Passion for quality food & hospitality

Team player with a friendly disposition towards a positive workplace

Current Texas Food Handlers certification (or must be willing to obtain)

Ability to lift 50+ pounds

Ability to work standing for 8+ hours
